Job Description:
Role Overview:The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing and uploading invoices, assisting in reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and hands-on experience with accounting software such as Tally.Key Responsibilities:1. Accounting OperationsRecord and maintain all day-to-day financial transactions in Tally.Pass journal entries, maintain ledgers, and ensure proper accounting of all expenses, income, assets, and liabilities.Record vendor bills, process expense claims, and track reimbursements.Support month-end and year-end closing processes.2. Compliance SupportAssist in monthly reconciliations of GST, TDS, and Bank accounts.Coordinate with compliance and finance teams for return filings, payment verifications, and reconciliations.Maintain supporting documents for all statutory filings and ensure accuracy of data.3. AuditSupport internal and statutory audits by preparing required financial data and documentation.Coordinate with auditors for data requests, queries, and clarifications.Assist to ensure timely resolution of audit observations and implementation of recommendations.Maintain organized audit working papers and ensure compliance with audit standards.Skills & Qualifications:Education: or equivalent qualification.Experience: 2–4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a Chartered Accountant firm Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and familiarity with GST & TDS concepts.Soft Skills: Attention to detail, organizational ability, and effective communication skills.Knowledge: Understanding of accounting principles, reconciliation processes, and statutory compliance.
