Job Description: Territory Sales Lead (TSL) Work Location : All India Nuziveedu seeds (Locations)This role is for aTerritory Sales Lead (TSL)with proven experience inAgriculture (Agri) Sales and Marketing , specifically within theagriculture or seed-based industry . The TSL will be responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration within an assigned territory and will report directly to theRegional Sales Manager (RSM) .Key Responsibilities 1. Sales and Business Development Achieve or exceed assignedsales targetsfor agricultural products (e.g., seeds, crop protection, fertilizers) within the designated territory. Develop and execute aterritory business planto identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities, focusing on high-potential farmers, dealers, and distributors. Manage thecomplete sales cycle , including prospecting, product demonstration, negotiation, and closing sales. Regularly visit farms, dealers, and distribution channels to maintain strong relationships and gathermarket intelligence . 2. Dealer and Channel Management Appoint, train, and manage the performance ofdealers/distributorsto ensure adequate product availability and market coverage. Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing, and credit terms by all channel partners. Conductproduct trainingsessions for dealer staff and retail counter personnel. 3. Marketing and Promotion Organize and executefield days, farmer meetings, and product demonstrationsto promote new products and increase brand awareness . Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager and Marketing team to implementpromotional schemesand campaigns effectively at the ground level. Collect feedback on product performance and market needs to inform futuremarketing and R&D strategies . 4. Reporting and Administration Maintain accurate and up-to-datesales records, pipeline, and customer datausing the company's CRM system. Prepare and submit regularsales forecasts, activity reports, and expense reportsto the Regional Sales Manager. Monitor competitor activities and market trends, providing timely updates to the management team.Requirements Education and Experience Bachelor's degreein Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of3-5 years of progressive sales experiencein Agri-sales or Ag-marketing, with a focus on seeds, crop protection, or agricultural inputs. Proven experience as aTerritory Sales Lead/Officer/Executiveis essential. Skills and Competencies Strong understanding ofagronomy, local cropping patterns, and farming practices . Excellentcommunication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills . Results-orientedwith a strong drive to meet and exceed targets. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively within a large territory. Proficiency in local language(s) and working knowledge of English. Willingness to undertakeextensive travelwithin the assigned territory.Reporting Structure The Territory Sales Lead reports directly to theRegional Sales Manager (RSM) .
