Merchandiser

We are looking for a Merchandiser – Home Textiles with experience in handling US/UK markets, who will work closely with the Director and support end-to-end coordination of product development and client servicing.This role requires strong follow-through on pre-order development, remote factory coordination, and seamless communication across teams.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Development & Pre-Order ManagementTrack and manage pre-order development timelines from concept to samplingCoordinate with design, sourcing, and production teamsEnsure timely development of samples as per buyer requirementsClient Servicing & CoordinationAct as a bridge between Director, clients, and internal teamsSupport communication with international buyers/ buying agenciesMaintain updates on all ongoing developments and share regular status reportsFactory & Vendor CoordinationWork with factory teamsFollow up on sampling, approvals, and production readinessDocumentation & ComplianceMaintain accurate product data, specifications, and costing sheetsEnsure alignment with buyer requirements and quality standardsTravel & Buyer MeetingsTravel for buyer meetings, showroom reviews, and factory visits as requiredKey RequirementsExperience in Home Textiles merchandising (bed, table, kitchen, table linen etc.)Exposure to US and/or UK marketsStrong experience in pre-order / sampling stage managementAbility to coordinate with factories remotelyGood understanding of product development lifecyclePrior experience working with export houses is a plus
