We’re Hiring an Air Pricing & Operations Assistant ManagerAtlantic Gate is looking for a skilled and detail‑oriented Air Pricing & Operations Assistant Manager to strengthen our Air Freight team in Mumbai. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong commercial pricing capabilities with hands‑on operational execution across export, import, and cross‑trade shipments.Role PurposeYou will manage air freight pricing, procurement, and end‑to‑end operations in line with company strategy—ensuring competitive pricing, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, margin protection, and high customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesAir Pricing & Commercial ManagementPrepare accurate and timely airfreight quotations for customers and internal sales teamsNegotiate rates, allocations, and commercial terms with airlines, GSAs, and consolidatorsMaintain and update rate matrices, contracts, and spot pricingSupport RFQs, tenders, and key‑account pricing in coordination with SalesEnsure pricing aligns with profitability and yield targetsAir Freight Operations ExecutionManage end‑to‑end air freight operations (export, import, cross trade)Coordinate with airlines, ground handlers, transporters, customs brokers, and overseas officesPrepare, verify, and control shipment documentation (MAWB, HAWB, invoices, DG papers where applicable)Monitor shipment milestones and proactively resolve exceptionsEnsure adherence to customer SLAs and transit commitmentsCompliance, Systems & ReportingEnsure compliance with IATA, airline, customs, and internal SOPsMaintain audit readiness and documentation accuracyUtilize company systems for operations, costing, and reportingSupport cost control, accurate billing, timely invoicing, and GP analysisWhat We’re Looking ForExperience in air freight pricing and operations within freight forwardingStrong commercial negotiation and cost awarenessSolid knowledge of air export, import, and cross‑trade processesAttention to detail, compliance‑driven mindset, and problem‑solving abilityAbility to work cross‑functionally with Sales, Operations, and overseas teamsWhy Join Atlantic Gate?Combination of commercial pricing and operational ownershipExposure to international air freight operationsProfessional, performance‑driven logistics environmentOpportunities to grow within the organizationInterested?
