While developing world class industrial real estate, IndoSpace also offers clients tailored built to suit and plug and play warehousing facilities enhanced by storage optimization, automation systems, electrical and IT infrastructure, loss prevention security systems, and material handling equipment including pallets.Role Overview : The AVP – Legal (Land Acquisitions) will be responsible for driving end-to-end legal closure of land acquisition transactions across India, ensuring that all deals are executed with speed, accuracy, and strong governance standards.The role will partner closely with the Investment, Business, and External Stakeholders to enable timely conversion of opportunities into successfully closed transactions, while safeguarding IndoSpace’s legal and commercial interests.Desired Experience : 10–12 years of experience in real estate legal transactions, with a strong focus on land acquisitionsProven track record of independently closing complex transactionsExposure to commercial real estate / land due diligence/retail / IPC / law firmsSuccess in This Role Looks Like :• Land acquisition deals are closed efficiently and within timelines• Legal risks are proactively identified and mitigated• Stakeholders experience smooth, solution-oriented legal support• Transactions are executed with high governance and documentation standardsKey Outcome Areas :1. Transaction Closure & Deal Enablement• Ensure seamless and timely closure of land acquisition transactions across locations.• Enable the investment team to convert opportunities into executed deals by proactively resolving legal complexities.• Drive deal momentum by independently managing negotiations, documentation, and execution stages.2. Legal Risk Management & Governance• Ensure all acquisitions are executed with robust legal structuring and risk mitigation.• Uphold IndoSpace’s governance standards and compliance frameworks across transactions.• Anticipate and address legal risks to avoid delays, disputes, or post-acquisition issues.3. Stakeholder Influence & Collaboration• Act as a trusted legal partner to internal stakeholders including Investment, Finance, and Projects teams.• Build strong alignment with landowners, external counsel, and counterparties to drive outcomes.• Lead discussions independently to achieve commercially viable and legally sound agreements.4. Documentation Excellence & Execution Rigor• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and enforceability of all transaction documentation.• Drive consistency and quality in documentation aligned with best-in-class industry practices.• Maintain high standards of execution to support audit readiness and long-term asset value protection.5.
