Role : Head-Accounts & Taxation Location : Borivali East Experience : 5 to 10 Years ( Real Estate Sector) Qualification : CA Job Description : The Head of Accounts & Taxation will be responsible for overseeing the companys entire Accounts, Finance, and Taxation functions. This role requires strong leadership, in-depth knowledge of tax laws, and the ability to implement efficient financial practices aligned with business goals. Key Responsibilities : Lead and manage the Accounts & Taxation team ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. Oversee accounting operations including finalization of accounts, MIS reporting, and statutory compliance. Ensure compliance with all Direct and Indirect tax laws, including Income Tax, GST, TDS, and other applicable regulations. Handle tax assessments, audits, and liaise with regulatory authorities. Formulate tax-efficient strategies while ensuring full compliance. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Ensure proper internal controls and compliance with accounting standards. Support management with financial analysis, decision-making, and strategic planning. Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and external consultants. Drive automation and process improvement initiatives within accounts and taxation functions. Key Skills Required Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, Direct & Indirect Taxation (Income Tax, GST, TDS, etc.) Expertise in tax planning, assessments, and regulatory compliance Proven experience in finalization of accounts, MIS, and audits Leadership & team management skills Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and MS Excel Excellent communication and stakeholder management
