Job Title: Campaign StrategistReporting To: Vice President – Digital MarketingLocation: KurlaExperience: 7-8 years in a creative / digital / integrated agencyRole OverviewWe are looking for a Campaign Strategist who can independently lead brand narratives, pitch strategies, and integrated campaign thinking for key clients. This role is ideal for someone who operates at the intersection of consumer insight, creative strategy, and business objectives, without the overhead of a traditional Creative Director role.The Campaign Strategist will be a hands-on strategic leader – owning pitch thinking, structuring decks, and guiding creative teams – while working closely with copy, design, business, and performance teams.Key Responsibilities1. Create & Pitch Business StrategyOwn end-to-end campaign strategy for pitches, RFPs, and annual brand plansTranslate client briefs into clear strategic frameworks, big ideas, and content ecosystemsLead narrative building for pitch decks including:Brand insight & problem framingCampaign idea articulationPlatform-first thinking (Digital / Social / Influencer / Performance-led)Act as the strategic anchor during pitch presentations, alongside business leads2. Campaign & Brand StrategyDevelop integrated campaign strategies across:Digital filmsSocial & influencer-led campaignsAlways-on and moment-based activationsPerformance-backed creative ideasEnsure strategies are grounded in:Consumer behaviour & cultural insightsPlatform relevanceBrand tonality and business objectivesBring clarity and structure to complex or ambiguous briefs3. Creative CollaborationBrief copywriters, designers, and motion teams with clear strategic directionAct as a strategic sounding board for creative ideas – ¯not just a reviewerEnsure creative outputs remain on-strategy and on-brief, without micromanaging executionCollaborate closely with:Creative teams (Copy, Art, Motion)Business & Account ManagementInfluencer Marketing & Performance teams4. Client & Internal Stakeholder ManagementParticipate in client discussions where strategic thinking is requiredArticulate and defend strategic choices with confidence and logicWork closely with leadership to:Identify gaps in pitch narrativesImprove win ratiosStrengthen the agency’s strategic POVMaintain transparency on workload, timelines, and dependencies5. Process & OwnershipManage multiple briefs and pitches in parallel with strong ownership and prioritisationEnsure timely handovers, documentation, and follow-throughUphold agency processes, timelines, and accountability standardsMentor junior team members on strategic thinking and campaign planningWhat This Role Is NOTThis is not a people-heavy Creative Director roleThis role does not require managing large teams or layersThis is a strategy-first, hands-on role focused on thinking, structure, and leadership in pitches and campaignsRequired Skills & Experience7–10 years of experience in:Creative agencies / Digital agencies / Integrated agenciesProven experience leading:Pitch strategiesBrand campaignsIntegrated digital-first ideasStrong understanding of:Digital & social ecosystemsInfluencer marketingPerformance-led creative thinkingExcellent skills in:Strategic storytellingDeck structuring & presentationsVerbal and written communicationAbility to work under pressure and tight timelines without compromising qualityHigh level of ownership, integrity, and transparencyPreferred BackgroundExperience working on BFSI, consumer brands, retail, or large digital-first accountsExposure to annual planning, long-term brand strategy, and always-on ecosystemsSomeone who enjoys building clarity in chaos
