This leadership role requires balancing technical mastery, content strategy, analytics, and people management. The ideal candidate demonstrates vision, precision, and the ability to leverage emerging AI technologies to shape next-generation search outcomes for clients.Key Responsibilities Lead the agency'sSEO strategyacross a multi-industry client base (BFSI, IT/ITES, Real Estate, Hospitality, Education, Automotive, Lifestyle, Healthcare, FMCG, Consumer). Definefull-funnel SEO roadmapsintegrating technical, content, and off-page optimization. Oversee and approve allaudits, strategies, and reportsbefore client delivery. Analyze search datato identify opportunities in Gen-AI Search and SGE environments. Integrate LLM-based tools for AI-enhanced keyword strategy, entity mapping, and on-page optimization. Build data-driven frameworks to correlateSEO KPIswith lead and conversion outcomes. Collaborate with web, content, and media teams to ensureSEO strategy alignmentacross all channels. Train and mentorthe SEO team, ensuring consistent skill growth and process quality. Represent the SEO function in clientmeetings, pitches , and cross-department strategic reviews. Track emerging algorithms, schema evolutions, andAI searchtrends to keep the agency future-ready.Required Skills Deep understanding ofadvanced SEOmechanics, like technical (Core Web Vitals, JavaScript SEO, schema), content (E-E-A-T, intent mapping), and analytics. Provenleadership and team managementexperience. Proficiency inenterprise-level SEO tools(Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, SurferSEO, GA4, Tag Manager). Strategic familiarity withAI search ecosystems , like Google SGE, ChatGPT integration, Bing Copilot, Perplexity AI, etc. Strong communication andclient relationshipmanagement skills. Ability to createstrategic documentation, reports, and performance forecasts . Analytical mindset with high proficiency in Excel, Data Studio, and visualization tools.KPIs Agency-wide organic traffic growth and visibility performance. Client retention and satisfaction metrics related to SEO outcomes. Ranking and conversion uplift across major accounts. Innovation adoption rate (AI-driven SEO workflows, automation tools).
