This is a senior, execution-first social media management role designed for someone who has already operated at an agency level or inside a fast-paced startup. Social media expertise is the core of this position; personal assistant responsibilities are also part of the role to provide additional support to the founder.This role is not suitable for junior candidates, career switchers, or general assistants looking to move into social media. You must already think like a social lead, understand performance, aesthetics, platforms, and internet culture deeply, and be comfortable owning output end-to-end.This role offers a unique opportunity to work across two dynamic businesses. You will support the social media management of a luxury real estate company based in Mexico, as well as an exciting new food startup launching in India and targeting Gen Z consumers. The position is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and is excited by the challenge of helping scale both a premium lifestyle brand and an innovative consumer startup simultaneously.You will work closely with the founder across these multiple brands.Location: Mumbai (mandatory) but role will be mostly remote.Employment Type: Full-timeSalary: INR 50,000 per monthKey RequirementsSocial media expertise comes first. This role requires a strong, proven social media professional who also takes on personal assistant responsibilities. Minimum 6 years of hands-on social media experience is mandatory. All six years must be in social media, digital content, or platform-led brand growth roles.Must be based in Mumbai and available during standard working hours, with some flexibility when requiredStrong understanding of Instagram and YouTube and willingness to learn about Snapchat and TikTok is highly regarded Demonstrated ability to independently plan, execute, and optimise contentHigh level of comfort using AI tools for content creation, ideation, scheduling, research, and productivityExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly organised, detail-oriented, and proactiveAbility to work independently and anticipate needsA sense of humour for content ideas and execution is a plusComfortable working in a fast-paced, founder-led startup environmentSocial Media ResponsibilitiesExecute and manage daily social media activities across Instagram, Snapchat and YouTubeOwn day-to-day management of all social channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, etc.), ensuring accounts are active, responsive, and on-brand at all timesActively monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and mentions, engaging with the community in a confident, brand-appropriate voice and escalating sensitive or high-risk interactions to the founder immediatelyFlag trends, PR risks, negative sentiment, or unusual activity proactively, with clear recommendations on how to respondEdit high-quality short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) end-to-end, including pacing, captions, hooks, transitions, sound selection, and light motion graphics. However, only light editing will be required as the Founder has a separate team that shoots and edits content.Continuously refine editing style to match platform best practices and evolving trends, ensuring content feels native, fast, and high-performing rather than over-producedRepurpose and adapt content intelligently across platforms, optimising format, length, captions, and thumbnails rather than reposting blindlyMaintain a consistently high visual and tonal standard, ensuring all outputs feel polished, intentional, and aligned with a premium, founder-led brandTrack content performance at a high level (what’s working, what’s not, why), and feed insights back into future content decisionsCreate static posts, reels, short-form videos, and thumbnails using provided raw contentProactively suggest content ideas aligned with brand tone, trends, and platform performanceAssist with caption writing, hashtag strategy, posting schedules, and basic analytics trackingCoordinate with editors, designers, or freelancers where requiredMaintain content calendars and ensure consistent postingPersonal Assistant ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the founderManage schedules, reminders, follow-ups, and task prioritisation where neededAssist with inbox management, message coordination, and basic correspondenceSupport research tasks, documentation, and information organisationCoordinate with internal team members, vendors, and external partnersHelp keep projects on track by monitoring deadlines and deliverablesPrepare basic summaries, notes, and task lists as requiredAct as a reliable point of support to reduce the founder’s operational loadWorking Style & ExpectationsBackground in agency environments or early-stage / high-growth startups is strongly preferredComfortable handling ambiguity, speed, and frequent priority shiftsOperates with a high level of ownership and accountabilityThinks in outcomes, not instructionsAble to manage multiple brands, tones, and priorities without quality dropCalm under pressure and reliable during launch periodsUnderstands founder-led businesses and knows how to reduce decision fatigueGrowth OpportunityThis role offers the opportunity to work closely with a founder across multiple brands and projects, gain exposure to brand building, digital marketing, and entrepreneurship, and grow into a more senior marketing, operational or strategic role over time.Use of AI tools is not optional.
