Social Media Manager

Role DescriptionThis is a full time in-person role for a Social Media Manager at Shop Mauve!We are looking for someone who doesn’t just post but creates, thinks, and builds. You will be the voice of Shop Mauve online, driving both the vibe and the vision of our digital presence. This role is equal parts strategy and creativity, from growing our follower count to building a true community.Responsibilities• Own and manage social media platforms including Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.• Think big and brainstorm creative content ideas to increase reach, engagement, and followers.• Plan and execute monthly content calendars with a mix of product, lifestyle, and community first content.• Lead ideation for interactive stories, viral reel formats, behind the scenes content, and community engagement initiatives such as Q and As, polls, challenges, and drop countdowns.• Conceptualise and launch small virtual events or offline moments that spark conversation and build brand love.• Build genuine relationships with followers to grow and nurture the community.• Track and analyse content performance and community metrics to continuously improve strategy.• Be the voice of the brand and maintain the aesthetic so every caption, comment, and story feels like Shop Mauve.Qualifications• Strong background in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization.• Creative thinker with experience developing original content strategies.• Excellent writing and storytelling skills with the ability to turn ideas into impactful moments.• Deep understanding of digital trends and what is working on Reels, Shorts, and Stories.• Experience in managing and growing a brand’s presence across multiple social platforms.• Ability to lead and execute community engagement through content, DMs, comments, and stories.• Highly organized, proactive, and excited to bring new ideas to life every week.• A degree in Marketing, Communications, Fashion, or a related field is preferred.
