Purpose To act as the thinking engine behind the content — ensuring every post, campaign, or collaboration ladders up to a business goal and audience insight. Core Deliverables ● Translate business and marketing objectives into social-first strategy decks. ● Define content pillars, audience segments, tone of voice , and platform differentiation. ● Research trends, formats, competitors, and emerging creators for ideation. ● Partner with design and copy teams to conceptualize and storyboard campaigns. ● Build insight-based campaign pitches and monthly performance decks. Day-to-Day Scope ● Morning: Scan industry trends, algorithm updates, and cultural insights. ● Midday: Work on strategy decks, content pillar audits, and post-performance evaluations. ● Afternoon: Collaborate with creative teams on ideation and mood boards. ● End of day: Build content calendars or briefs for client review. ● Weekly: Present insights and next-step recommendations to SMM and Head of Social. Skill Arsenal ● Research & analytics-driven thinking (Google Trends, RivalIQ, BuzzSumo). ● Storyboarding & presentation design (PowerPoint, Canva, or Keynote). ● Creative thinking — ability to craft campaign narratives around insights. ● Comfortable with paid + organic integration. ● Writing and ideation skills to brief copy/design teams effectively. ● Excellent communication and presentation delivery. KPIs ● Strategic clarity and originality of campaigns. ● Engagement lift vs benchmarks after implementation. ● Efficiency of content pillars (high-performing content ratio). ● Insight adoption rate across brand teams. ● Proactiveness in trend integration and platform-first recommendations.
