Job title Marketing Manager, India Reports to This newly created position reports to the Regional Head of Marketing and works closely with a global team of HCLTech executives, sales management and marketing experts. Job overview This role is pivotal to HCLTech’s growth in India. Based in Mumbai, you’ll be at the heart of our efforts to drive demand in the enterprise market. You’ll need to understand our business strategy and help us build customer-centric campaigns and communications that influence, inspire and create new opportunities for regional business growth. Responsibilities and duties Help develop messaging, campaign frameworks and activation plans for multi-channel outputs, including marketing materials, microsites and written and video content. Contribute to client engagement and revenue growth initiatives across the Indian market. Create demand-generation strategies rooted in a strong understanding of client needs and target markets, always aligned with the best go-to-market channels. Plan, organize and execute programs that generate new prospects and move existing opportunities forward for the sales team through multi-touch campaigns. Design and deliver creative client and internal event concepts, managing every detail from start to finish. Partner with country sales teams to manage and coordinate integrated campaigns, ensuring consistent messaging and effective execution. Proactively coordinate, communicate and maximize the impact of marketing investments — including launching new activities and aligning with global, regional and local initiatives. Share best practices and support local marketing teams to engage clients and grow revenue. Measure and monitor the return on marketing investments, clearly demonstrating business impact and positioning the marketing team as a growth driver. Requirements for candidates Proven experience in B2B marketing and communications, ideally with a multinational technology or professional services firm. Strategic thinker who’s goal-oriented and willing to roll up their sleeves. Highly creative with a knack for original concepts. Deep understanding of how target audiences buy — including key stages and decision points in the buying cycle and how our products and solutions are perceived in the market. Excellent relationship-building skills, with a track record of working effectively across teams. Self-starter who can thrive in a matrix organization. Strong planning, project management and problem-solving abilities. Skilled at managing agencies and vendors. Superior written and verbal communication skills. Creative problem-solver who is always looking for ways to innovate and improve marketing effectiveness. Comfortable working with globally distributed teams.
