Job Description:

This role exists to drive category growth and market preference for gypsum-based drywall solutions in India by creating strong engagement platforms with key customer segments – Architects, Contractors, and Sector Influencers. The position is instrumental in delivering sector-focused marketing strategies, enabling sales, and enhancing brand presence through thought leadership, partnerships, and targeted initiatives. It contributes directly to the organization's mission by fostering adoption of innovative construction solutions and strengthening market leadership. Job Summary: The incumbent will lead initiatives to increase engagement with architects and contractors, drive lead generation, create sector-specific marketing strategies, and promote the adoption of gypsum-based drywall solutions across key industry sectors such as Office, Hospitality, Healthcare, Residential, and Industrial. Success in this role will be measured by the effectiveness of engagement programs, quality and conversion of leads generated, sector penetration, and impact of marketing campaigns. Responsibilities : Architect & Contractor Engagement: Design and implement engagement initiatives like “High-rise Club” to build loyalty and long-term relationships. Drive adoption of tools, services, and communication strategies tailored for architects and contractors. Conduct regular connect programs (virtual/physical) for value communication and brand recall. Sector-Specific Marketing & Thought Leadership: Lead participation in conferences, panel discussions, exhibitions in key sectors (Office, Healthcare, Hospitality, etc.). Develop and distribute sector-focused content across platforms to establish thought leadership. Build and manage relationships with key influencers in the AEC ecosystem. Lead Generation & Sales Enablement: Design and execute lead generation campaigns across target sectors. Support sales with customized collateral, presentations, tools, demos, and customer-centric solutions. Conduct regular market visits to identify opportunities and assess project needs. Category Promotion & Adoption (Drywall): Design and spearhead initiatives to promote gypsum drywall as a preferred construction solution. Work closely with internal teams to monitor ROI of programs and marketing effectiveness. Lead digital and offline campaigns to amplify category conversations and brand presence. Market Research & Insights: Conduct sector-specific research to uncover trends, barriers, and opportunities. Use insights to inform marketing strategies and support product-market fit. Qualifications : MBA in Marketing / Strategy / Communication OR B.Arch / Civil Engineering with a strong marketing orientation. Minimum 8 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in building materials, real estate, construction, or interiors. Required Skills : Strong understanding of the building materials or construction ecosystem in India, especially in the gypsum/drywall or interior finishes space. Experience in engaging specifiers (architects, consultants), contractors, and sector influencers. Ability to craft and execute campaigns with both brand and business impact. Experience with both traditional and digital marketing tools. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills – capable of managing internal and external stakeholders. High degree of ownership and entrepreneurial mindset – able to conceptualize and drive initiatives from scratch. Preferred Skills : Demonstrated success in architect/contractor engagement and category-building initiatives. Sectoral marketing exposure across key verticals (e.g., healthcare, hospitality, real estate). Strong content creation and communication planning capabilities. Proficient in using CRM, campaign management, and marketing automation tools.
