Production Manager - Events & MICE

Job Summary Maximus Events is seeking a highly experienced Production Lead to spearhead end-to-end production for large-scale events, MICE, and experiential projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, vendor management skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality, innovative event productions within timelines and budgets. Key Responsibilities ·      Lead and oversee the complete production lifecycle for events and MICE projects—from planning to on-ground execution. ·      Develop and manage production budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality. ·      Liaise with internal teams, clients, and external vendors for seamless coordination of deliverables. ·      Negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure quality materials, technical equipment, and services. ·      Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and regulatory requirements at all venues. ·      Anticipate and troubleshoot production challenges, ensuring contingency plans are in place. ·      Innovate and implement new technologies, stage design ideas, and production techniques to elevate event experiences. ·      Lead and mentor the production team, fostering strong collaboration and performance. ·      Prepare detailed post-event production reports, highlighting learnings and improvements. Key Requirements ·      6-8 years of experience in production management for events, exhibitions, or MICE. ·      Strong knowledge of technical production (AV, lighting, staging, fabrication). ·      Proven ability to manage large-scale productions end-to-end within budget and timelines. ·      Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills. ·      Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. ·      Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously. ·      Willingness to travel for event setups and execution. Preferred Qualifications ·      Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Mass Media, Production, or related field. ·      Prior experience with reputed event agencies or large-format experiential projects. ·      Familiarity with the latest production technologies and design innovations.
