Merchandiser and Production Manager

Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate with vendors, tailors, dye houses, and fabricators for timely deliveries - Maintain production calendars and ensure on-time execution - Track work-in-progress for each style across stages (sampling, cutting, stitching, finishing) - Conduct or supervise basic quality checks before dispatch - Source and order fabrics, trims, and accessories as per design needs - Track fabric stock, consumption, and wastage - Maintain an up-to-date inventory of raw materials and finished goods - Coordinate pickup/drop logistics with warehouse or delivery teams - Create and update internal line sheets, lookbooks, and range plans - Maintain master SKU list with all product specs, costing, and vendor details - Assist in product pricing, margin planning, and order quantities - Provide weekly production status reports - Flag bottlenecks and delays and propose solutions quickly Requirements: - 2–5 years of experience in garment production and/or merchandising - Solid understanding of fabrics, trims, garment construction, and sampling - Strong coordination and communication skills - Skilled in Excel/Google Sheets, WhatsApp/email coordination, and basic documentation - Highly organized, deadline-driven, and solution-oriented Bonus Points If You: - Have worked in a startup or small-scale production setup - Have contacts with trusted vendors, tailors, and sourcing agents - Are comfortable with field visits to vendors or warehouses - Understand tech packs, patterning basics, and fit processes
