The role requires a proactive individual capable ofindependently managing legal matters, negotiations, and closure of cases while safeguarding theorganization’s legal interests.Key ResponsibilitiesCorporate & Commercial Legal Work∙ Drafting, reviewing, vetting, and negotiating a wide range of agreements, including but notlimited to Vendor, service, lease, employment, and commercial contracts∙ Ensuring compliance with applicable corporate laws, rules, and regulations∙ Advising management on legal risks, liabilities, and mitigation strategies∙ Handling legal documentation and maintaining records of contracts and casesLitigation & Criminal Law Interface∙ Responding to police notices, legal notices, and summons∙ Drafting and filing FIR applications and related legal documents∙ Visiting police stations and courts for critical and sensitive legal matters∙ Coordinating with external advocates for litigation and legal proceedings∙ Assisting in investigation-related matters and follow-upsLiaison & Regulatory Matters∙ Liaising with government authorities, police officials, and regulatory bodies∙ Representing the organization before authorities as required∙ Ensuring timely closure of legal matters through effective follow-upsNegotiations & Case Closure∙ Leading negotiations with external parties, vendors, and authorities∙ Strategizing settlements and ensuring efficient closure of disputes∙ Monitoring ongoing cases and ensuring timely resolutionRequired Skills & Competencies∙ Strong knowledge of Corporate Law, contracts, and compliance∙ Practical exposure to criminal law procedures, police matters, and FIR processes ∙Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills∙ Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism∙ Strong coordination and relationship-management skills with authorities∙ Capability to work independently and manage multiple legal mattersPreferred Candidate Profile∙ LLB with minimum 10 years of relevant experience∙ Prior experience in handling corporate legal work along with police and authority liaison
