Headquartered in Santa Clara, CA, with global operations, Decklar is backed by strategic investors and driving rapid growth through innovations.Role OverviewAs the Legal Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Decklar’s legal operations strategy and driving scalable processes that enable the company to execute with precision, transparency, and compliance.This role is at an individual contributor level and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer in California, United States.Key ResponsibilitiesDrafting custom customer contracts and negotiating these contracts with customers and partners.Prepare legal document templates from NDAs to terms of use and implement it across all businesses.Responsible for cap table management, ESOP agreements, share purchase agreements, board resolutions.Responsible for patent portfolio, IP protection and compliance with data privacy laws of various operating countries.Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of all legal records for on demand audits and governance.Responsible for working with speciality law firms globally to lead litigation and arbitration.Train and mentor internal teams to bring the culture of record keeping, governance and compliance.Qualifications & Experience Required:Law degree with 10+ years of corporate law experience working for a technology company.Startup experience, contract life cycle management, due diligence and legal audit experience, working with global customers, teams, partners, and investors preferred.Read more about how Responsible Rebels at Decklar make great things happen! agencies: We do not accept unsolicited agency resumes.
