Join us to help shape the digital future of clean energy.Position Overview:To contribute to the design, development, and implementation of backend services and APIs for web applications and software solutions. The Backend Developer will work across the technology stack primarily using Node.js for server-side development and AWS cloud services for infrastructure and deployment. The role involves building scalable, secure, and maintainable backend systems and collaborating closely with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams throughout the product lifecycle from development to deployment and ongoing improvements.Key Responsibilities:Contribute to the development of new features and enhancements for our web platform and back-end systems, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.Architect and implement robust back-end services, APIs, and server-side logic. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers and product managers, to deliver exceptional user experiences.Conduct code reviews across back-end codebases.Troubleshoot and debug complex issues to optimize application performance.Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our tech stack.Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and testing processes.Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support in their professional growth.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Tier 1 or Tier 2 universities preferred).1–3 years of hands-on backend development experience using Node.js in production environments, with exposure to microservices architecture.Strong proficiency in back-end development with microservice architecture using Node.js.Understanding of server-side technologies (Express.js, Nest.js, etc.)Experience with databases (DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and infrastructure technologies( RabbitMQ/Kafka/SQS, Redis, ElasticSearch, AWS Cognito).Proficiency with Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration.Experience in writing unit and integration tests using Jest (or similar testing frameworks) is required.Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline and AWS cloud services (S3, Cognito, API Gateway, ElasticSearch etc.)Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities.Strong attention to detail - Effective communication and collaboration skills.Experience in front-end development with React (Redux, React Router, etc.)  is a plus.What We Offer:Hands-on experience in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.Opportunities to work on impactful projects that drive innovation.Competitive salary and benefits package.Supportive team culture within an international work environment.Professional development and mentorship opportunities.
