Data Engineer (Palantir Foundry)

We are looking to hire a Data Engineer- Palantir Foundry who will be responsible for delivering end-to-end dashboard solutions—from business requirement gathering to data modeling, transformation, and development of high-quality, interactive dashboards—for our client based in the United Arab Emirates, which is one of the largest companies in the region.This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 12 months and is renewable base don performance.We are looking for a passionate Data Engineer- Palantir Foundry with strong expertise in building data pipelines, high-performance dashboards and working closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable data solutions. You should also have strong experience in Palantir Foundry (Ontology, Pipelines, Code Repositories, Workshop/Slate), along with solid knowledge of SQL, Python, and data modeling/ETL processes.Key responsibilities:Engage with business stakeholders to gather, structure, and refine requirementsTranslate business needs into data models and dashboard solutionsWork with Foundry datasets, ensuring data quality, lineage, and accuracyDesign and develop interactive dashboards using Foundry tools (Workshop/Slate)Build and maintain data pipelines and automation workflowsOptimize dashboards for performance, scalability, and usabilityIntegrate dashboards with operational workflows (alerts, triggers, actions)Continuously enhance dashboards based on user feedback and evolving needsKnowledge, skills & experience:Strong hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry (Ontology, Pipelines, Workshop/Slate, Code Repositories)Proficiency in SQL and Python (preferred)Experience in data modelling and ETL/ELT pipeline developmentStrong ability to design intuitive, user-friendly dashboardsUnderstanding of KPI design, data visualization, and storytellingStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAvailability:Preference will be given to candidates available immediately or a maximum of 30 days after accepting the offer.We are looking for a candidate who will be able to work in the United Arab Emirates.
