Job Title: Web Lead --Reporting to: Web Manager--Overview We’re looking for an experienced and proactive website marketer who will be responsible for the day-to-day management, performance, and continuous improvement of our website, ensuring it delivers outstanding user experience and supports our business objectives.This is an exciting time to join Access and you’ll be getting stuck in straight away so we’re looking for someone who really knows website best practice, and has great experience to draw from.We need someone with deep knowledge of the core principles of SEO, CRO and UX and has proven experience of spearheading positive change while baking in best practice – your results should speak for themselves. You’ll be a data-driven problem solver and not afraid to challenge the status quo. You’ll have a skill for communicating technical information in an accessible way.--ResponsibilitiesDriving lead generation through creating best in class user experiences on commercial websitesFocus on SEO and improving content initiatives to drive organic trafficChampion user experience (UX) best practices and lead A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation (CRO) initiatives – with recommendations for test and learn initiativesMonitor site analytics, producing regular reports and actionable insights for stakeholdersManaging and delivering onsite optimisations and content updatesTechnical website-focussed partner to Digital Product OwnerNeeds to be commercial and customer focusedCollaborate with marketing, product and development teams to plan and deliver website projects and campaigns --ExperienceProven experience in web optimisation roleSolid understanding of SEO principles and best practicesExperience in UX and on-site optimisation (CRO)Project management – especially the delivery of technical projectsData literate and good numeracy skills – demonstrated by ability to report on performance in an accurate and accessible wayDevelopment and delivery of technical/digital requirementsUse and experience of various CMS – Umbraco not essential but is a bonusWill have experience in using a wide range of digital toolsGoogle AnalyticsSearch ConsoleOptimize or similarSEMrush or similarHeatmapping e.g Clarity, HotJarLooker Studio or similarDreamdata or similarExperience in website migration projects is desirable but not essential--Examples of tasks performedSEO analysis and reporting to identify opportunities for improvement.
