The Senior Software Engineer will be a member of our experienced development team and collaborate with business stakeholders in asset finance to streamline client funding, portfolio management, collateral management, and financial reporting.Responsibilities:Design, code, test, and deploy enterprise software to support lending for residential mortgages and commercial real estateCollaborate with business and development teams to understand requirements, provide transparency, and maintain timelinesProvide support for vendor and proprietary systems that have been built around our lending workflows and client processesQualifications:8+ years of professional experience in software engineering in financial servicesRelevant technical university degreeRequired Skills:Professional experience in object-oriented programming and relational databasesExperience in software design principles and system designUnderstanding of REST APIs and software design principlesExperience with Data Integration & ETLHands-on experience in cloud technologiesAbility to work well independently as well as collaborativelyResults oriented and commercialExcellent oral and written communication skillsPreferred Skills:Excel Power UserExperience with fixed income, mortgages, and commercial real estateExperience with loan finance and credit marketsExperience with the ProMerit lending platform
