Smart IMS, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, Oracle Platinum Partner, AWS MSP Partner is a trusted technology and business partner delivering technology-enabled solutions to help companies grow their businesses and compete globally.Payroll : Smart IMSType of work: 1 year with Possible ExtensionWork Location : Mumbai (Onsite- Work From office)Position Description:The system architect will participate in the design, development, and implementation of infrastructure solution designs to facilitate the hosting of applications that support all lines of businesses within client which includes Global Banking, Global Markets, Risk and Finance, Consumer Banking and Enterprise Architecture. The focuss of this role will be infrastructure system design which includes requirements gathering, system capacity analysis, solution design creation and documentation based on Architecture roadmap. The successful candidate will be a seasoned technical resource with deep technical understanding of the operating systems and hardware, and able to translate into a high-level design, capable of providing technical consulting with senior engineers and non-technical business partners. Working with Asia as well as Global team to ensure designs are fit for purpose and comply with global standards and align with future strategies. Relationship management and a time to market focus will be important including the ability to partner effectively with application owners and developers. The candidate will work on a range of new business initiatives in addition to ensuring continual system currency and consistency across the server hosting estate.Key Responsibilities- Gather system requirements for various business aligned projects - Participate in the system design discussion – regional and global including the architecture review board approval process - Analyze system capacity based on historical trends and growth projections - Write and maintain solution design documents including high level system design diagram - Understand bank standards including server configuration, network topology, middleware components, and security policies - Have up-to-date knowledge on latest technology - Document and maintain implementation procedureKey Requirements- Solid and proven experience in infrastructure hosting design - Solid experience in Linux operating systems - Solid experience in server performance analysis - Experience in virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Docker) - Server hardware knowledge (e.g., HP, IBM) - Networking knowledge (e.g., LAN, WAN, DMZ, Firewall) - Excellent verbal and written communication skillsDesired Skills- Scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Perl, Python) - Experience with automation software (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) - Familiar with middleware applications (e.g., Tomcat, Database, Tibco, MQ) - Trade function and application knowledge (e.g., Order and Execution, Market data, Settlement, Messaging)If you are interested, please share your resume to Saicharan.aluur@
