Role OverviewWe’re hiring Data Engineers for a Fortune 100 retail client’s Enterprise Data Warehouse Team. This team supports all 12 business units by delivering high-quality, scalable data solutions. You’ll work on legacy redesigns and new projects using cutting-edge technology, including Google Cloud (BigQuery, GCS).Core ResponsibilitiesBuild and optimize data pipelines and solutions for multiple business units.Collaborate with project managers, product managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and validate solutions.Ensure data processes are robust and scalable for long-term performance.Work independently and drive projects forward.Required SkillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal).Ability to explain the impact and outcomes of your work.Technical expertise in:SQL (expert level)ETL/BI developmentJenkins (2+ years preferred)Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, GCSPythonDataform and/or DBTStrong systemic thinking (understand trade-offs in design decisions).Ideal CandidateGrowth mindset: Reflects on past work and seeks improvement.Understands why behind coding decisions, not just how.Can design solutions that remain effective over time.
