Title: Accessibility Test EngineerPosition: ContractMinimum Exp: 5 Years+Location: RemoteJoining: ImmediateWe are looking for a detail-oriented Accessibility Tester to ensure that our web and mobile applications are usable by people of all abilities. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in accessibility testing, a deep understanding of WCAG guidelines, and the ability to collaborate with developers, designers, and QA teams to build inclusive digital experiences.Responsibilities:Perform manual and automated accessibility testing for web and mobile applications.Validate compliance against WCAG 2.1 / 2.2 (Level AA) standards.Test applications using assistive technologies, including Screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack), Keyboard-only navigation, and Screen magnifiers and contrast tools.Identify, document, and track accessibility defects with clear reproduction steps and remediation guidance.Collaborate with developers, UX designers, and product owners to resolve accessibility issues.Review UI designs, wireframes, and code changes for accessibility risks early in the SDLC.Create and maintain accessibility test plans, checklists, and reports.Support accessibility audits and client compliance requirements.Stay updated with evolving accessibility standards, tools, and best practices.Requirements:5 - 8 years of experience in Functional and Accessibility testing with Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1 / 2.2, ARIA, and accessibility best practices.Hands-on experience with accessibility testing tools such as Axe, Lighthouse, WAVE, Accessibility Insights.Experience testing HTML, CSS, JavaScript-based applications (React, Angular, etc.).Good understanding of semantic HTML, ARIA roles, and keyboard interactions.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Strong defect documentation and communication skills.Experience with mobile accessibility testing (iOS & Android).Knowledge of accessibility standards such as Section 508, ADA, or EN 301 549.Familiarity with automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.Accessibility certifications such as IAAP CPACC / IAAP WAS will be a plus.
