Lead - Digital TechnologyPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead - Digital Technology to join our technology team as an end-to-end owner driving digital innovations and strategic technology projects. This role requires a seasoned professional who can bridge business strategy with technical execution while leading cross-functional initiatives that drive organizational growth and digital transformation.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Innovation- Drive end-to-end ownership of digital technology initiatives from conception to implementation - Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and digital trends to drive innovation within the organization - Develop and execute comprehensive digital transformation strategies aligned with business objectives - Lead research and development of new digital solutions and platformsProject Management & Execution- Manage complex, multi-stakeholder technology projects with full accountability for delivery - Define project scope, timelines, resource requirements, and success metrics - Coordinate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, design, and business stakeholders - Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standardsTechnical Leadership- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and developers - Architect scalable and robust digital solutions that meet current and future business needs - Evaluate and recommend technology stack, tools, and platforms for various initiatives - Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, security, and data managementStakeholder Management- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align technology initiatives with business strategy - Present project updates, technical recommendations, and strategic insights to executive stakeholders - Partner with business units to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions - Manage vendor relationships and external technology partnershipsTeam Development & Culture- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence within the team - Participate in hiring and building high-performing technology teams - Establish processes and frameworks that enhance team productivity and project deliveryRequired QualificationsEducation- MBA from a recognized business school (required) - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical fieldExperience- 8-12 years of progressive experience in digital technology, software development, or related fields - Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale technology projects - Experience in digital transformation initiatives and emerging technology implementationTechnical Skills- Strong understanding of modern software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps, etc.) - Familiarity with AI/ML technologies, and digital platforms - Understanding of API design, microservices architecture, and system integration - Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practicesPreferred Qualifications- Industry Experience: 3+ years of experience in the lending industry (banks, NBFCs, fintech lenders, or financial services) - Lending Technology Knowledge: Understanding of lending lifecycle, credit assessment systems, loan origination systems (LOS), loan management systems (LMS), and regulatory compliance requirements - Financial Technology Expertise: Experience with payment gateways, digital KYC, risk management systems, and banking APIs - Salesforce Experience: Hands-on experience with Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom application development - Experience with fintech-specific technologies and regulatory frameworks - Track record of building and scaling technology teams in financial services
