SAP Basis Manager

Looking forSAP Basis Managerwith8–10 yearsin SAP Basis administration and management. . This role is the primary technical point of contact for the entire SAP landscape, focusing on system stability, performance, security, and project management while mentoring a high-performing team. Candidates who have led the SAP Basis team in an end-user retail environment would be preferred.Key Responsibilities: SAP System Management:Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, upgrades, and patching across the SAP landscape (ECC, NetWeaver, HANA, BOBJ, etc.) Performance & Optimization:Conduct regular performance tuning, capacity planning, and proactive monitoring to ensure optimal system efficiency and zero unplanned downtime. Team & Project Leadership:Lead and mentor a team of 2-3 administrators. Manage SAP Basis projects, timelines, resources, and deliverables effectively. Security & Compliance:Ensure system security, manage user access controls, implement security patches, and ensure audit compliance. Disaster Recovery:Design, implement, and manage disaster recovery solutions and data integrity through successful backups. Stakeholder Management:Coordinate with vendors, partners, and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment with business goals. Documentation:Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and project status reports.Required Qualifications: Technical Expertise:In-depth knowledge of SAP Basis architecture, administration, SAP HANA, S/4HANA (good to have), and Solution Manager. Database/OS Proficiency:Experience with SQL Server and HANA databases; knowledge of Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems. Skills:Strong analytical problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and proven project management experience.
