Job Title: Senior PHP Developer (Laravel) – SAAS Platform with AI & Automation Expertise Location: Navi Mumbai Experience Required: 5+ Years Industry: IT/Software Product (SAAS) Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced PHP Developer specialized in the Laravel framework for our SAAS product development team. The ideal candidate brings proven expertise in building scalable, secure, and efficient web applications, with hands-on experience integrating AI tools and automation solutions. You will work closely with our product, data, and DevOps teams to drive next-generation features powered by AI and automation. Key Responsibilities: Architect, develop, test, and maintain SAAS applications using Laravel and modern PHP best practices. Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and AI engineers to integrate intelligent features leveraging machine learning, NLP, or other AI technologies. Implement automation solutions for data processing, user workflows, alerting, and product configurations. Optimize backend performance, security, and scalability for enterprise-grade SAAS platforms. Take ownership of complex modules and see them through from concept to launch. Write clean, documented, and reusable code; conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers. Research and recommend new technologies, frameworks, or AI tools for continuous platform improvement. Troubleshoot production issues and apply proactive monitoring and automated resolution strategies. Work in an agile, fast-paced environment with delivery-driven timelines. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years hands-on experience in PHP and Laravel (experience with latest version preferred). Demonstrable expertise building SAAS apps, RESTful APIs, and backend microservices. Good knowledge of AI tools and an active interest in AI technologies. Background in automation (scripting, workflow engines, Cron jobs, RPA or similar). Proficient in MySQL/PostgreSQL, Redis, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Familiar with secure coding standards, OAuth/JWT, and enterprise data protection. Hands-on experience using Git, CI/CD pipelines, and project management tools (Jira, Trello, etc.). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and documentation ability. Desired Attributes: Passionate about AI and exploring automation for business process optimization. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Previous experience in a product-based, SAAS-technology company. Comfortable working in cross-functional, innovative teams.
