Job Description:
Role: Multicloud Admin (VMWare and Azure) Work Location : Client Place @ Hinchpokli , Mumbai, Maharashtra Experience : 5 to 8 Years Summary: The role involves managing VMware environments (ESXi, vCenter), VM operations (provisioning, troubleshooting, migrations, snapshots, cloning), performance and capacity monitoring, patch management, backup/recovery coordination, and ensuring security/compliance. Additional tasks include console/tools management and maintaining documentation. The candidate must work onsite at the Mumbai client office, possess strong VMware expertise, basic Azure/AWS administration skills, and experience with ITSM tools. Strong troubleshooting, cross-team collaboration, client management, stakeholder communication, and documentation skills are essential. Key Responsibilities: Advanced knowledge of VMWare for managing virtual environments, including ESXi hosts and vCenter management Basic administration of Azure and AWS cloud platforms VM Operations – health checks, troubleshooting, provisioning, and decommissioning of VMs Snapshot Management – create, delete, restore, and consolidate snapshots Cloning – creating clones for testing and deployment purposes Server Migrations – migrating servers between hosts and clusters Capacity Monitoring – tracking resource usage at host/cluster level and ensuring optimal performance Performance Analysis – diagnosing and resolving VM performance issues, including CPU, memory, and disk bottlenecks Patch Management – ensuring VMs and hosts are up to date with security patches Backup and Recovery – coordinating with backup teams for VM protection and recovery VMware Console Management – providing console access based on requests VMware Tools Management – installing, upgrading, and troubleshooting VMware tools Security and Compliance – ensuring adherence to security policies and compliance requirements Documentation – maintaining SOPs, configurations, and incident logs Role Requirements : Candidate must work from the Mumbai Client Office. Strong expertise in client management and stakeholder communication Ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical teams Knowledge of ITSM tools for ticketing and incident management Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and documentation skills
