Senior Product Manager (life insurance)

Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Product Manager with expertise in the Life Insurance domain to drive product development and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Life Asia, along with a strong background in creating and managing BRDs (Business Requirement Documents) and FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents).Key Responsibilities: Define and execute the product roadmap for Life Insurance products and digital solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including actuarial, underwriting, claims, sales, and IT, to deliver high-impact product enhancements.Gather and analyse business and functional requirements to create detailed BRDs and FRDs.Work closely with technology teams to enhance and integrate Life Asia core systems for improved efficiency.Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and regulatory assessments to drive innovation in life insurance offerings.Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to implementation and post-launch improvements.Ensure compliance with IRDAI regulations and other industry standards.Monitor key product performance metrics and optimize strategies based on data insights.Required Skills & Qualifications: 9+ years of experience in product management, with at least 4+ years in the Life Insurance domain.Strong experience in creating and managing BRDs and FRDs for insurance product development.Hands-on experience with Life Asia or other core life insurance platforms.Expertise in digital transformation, policy administration systems, and customer journey optimization.Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar.Strong analytical, problem solving, and stakeholder management skills.
