Test Lead – Manual Testing (General Insurance Domain)Location: MumbaiExperience: 7 – 12 YearsDomain: Indian General InsuranceRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Test Lead – Manual Testing with strong exposure to the Indian General Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading end-to-end QA delivery across core insurance modules, ensuring high-quality releases, and managing stakeholder communication effectively.This role requires strong domain knowledge, leadership capability, and hands-on involvement in testing cycles.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Manual Testing projects within the General Insurance domainUnderstand and validate requirements across Policy Administration, Claims, Underwriting & Endorsements modulesPrepare test strategy, test plans, and test scenariosManage SIT, UAT, Regression & Release cycles independentlyDrive defect lifecycle management and ensure timely closureCoordinate with Business, Development, Product & Client stakeholdersEnsure QA governance, documentation standards & reportingMentor and guide team members to maintain quality benchmarksProvide regular status updates, risk analysis & mitigation plansRequired Skills & CompetenciesStrong understanding of the Insurance lifecycle (Quote → Policy → Endorsement → Claims)Hands-on experience in Manual Functional TestingExperience in core insurance systems such as:GuidewireDuck CreekTCS BaNCSIn-house Policy Administration Systems (PAS)Strong exposure to SIT, UAT & Regression TestingExpertise in defect tracking tools (JIRA, HP ALM, etc.)Excellent stakeholder communication & client handling skillsAbility to lead and mentor testing teamsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsEligibility Criteria7–12 years of total experience in TestingMinimum 3–5 years of experience in General Insurance domainPrior experience in Test Lead / Senior QA role preferredExperience working with Indian Insurance companies is highly desirableApplication ProcessInterested candidates with relevant General Insurance Manual Testing experience may share their profiles with the following details:Total ExperienceRelevant Insurance ExperienceCurrent LocationCurrent CTC & Expected CTCNotice Period
