Assistant Claims Manager

Position Title: Assistant Manager / Manager – Motor ClaimsLocation: MumbaiExperience: 3–6 years in Motor Insurance Claims (Two-Wheeler & Four-Wheeler)About the Role:We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to manage motor insurance claims efficiently. This role involves assessing losses, coordinating with surveyors and workshops, ensuring compliance with IRDAI guidelines, and delivering exceptional service to policyholders.Key Responsibilities:- Handle motor insurance claims for two-wheelers and four-wheelers - Assess losses, appoint IRDAI-approved surveyors, and review reports - Communicate repair approvals and claim status to customers - Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with IRDAI regulations - Liaise with workshops and surveyors for onboarding/offboarding and query resolution - Assist grievance team in resolving escalated complaints - Conduct quality checks before final settlement - Visit workshops to address operational issues and improve service qualityRequired Skills:- Strong knowledge of motor insurance claims process - Familiarity with IRDAI guidelines and compliance requirements - Excellent communication and customer handling skills - Ability to work under pressure and meet TAT - Good organizational and time management skillsQualifications:- Diploma/Degree in Automobile Engineering or related field - Additional training in insurance or claims management preferred
