This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our global investment operations.What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)- Portfolio Accounting & Reconciliation: Lead daily/monthly portfolio accounting and reconciliation processes for the firm’s investment assets within the insurance domain, ensuring compliance and data integrity. - Data Management & Analysis: Utilize expert SQL skills for complex data querying, analysis, transformation, and reporting across various investment platforms. - Process Automation: Drive initiatives to implement process automation solutions, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and shorten reconciliation cycles. - Technical Consultation: Act as a subject matter expert, bridging the gap between Investment Operations and Technology teams to deliver robust data solutions. - Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with global teams operating on the EMEA shift schedule.Must-Have Qualifications- Experience: 4 to 10 years of total experience, with a significant portion in Capital Markets or Insurance Investment Operations. - Domain Expertise: Deep practical knowledge of portfolio accounting, trade settlement, and investment reconciliation cycles. - Technical Foundation: Proven expertise in data management, SQL programming, and process automation tools/scripting languages.Good to Have Skills & CertificationsStand out from the crowd if you possess:- Certifications: Professional certification in SQL. - Cloud/Big Data Exposure: Experience or certification in Cloud technologies (e.g., AWS) or big data platforms (Hadoop, Databricks).
