Specialist - Reinsurance Operations

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Operations team at Guy Carpenter. This role will be based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. Specialist– Transactional Services We are seeking a detail-oriented Document Verification Specialist with a strong understanding of reinsurance principles, contracts, and market practices to support our client onboarding process. The primary responsibilities include verifying, validating, and authenticating documents submitted by clients to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. The role involves managing data collection, storage, processing, and retrieval to support business operations and decision-making, submitting documents to reinsurers, monitoring agreements, and following up with clients and reinsurers. Additionally, the specialist will handle inquiries from reinsurers and clients, assist in the quick settlement of funds to clients and reinsurers, and ensure smooth team operations by addressing concerns promptly and providing solutions that enhance productivity. We will count on you to: Assisting Junior Technicians with technical queries and troubleshooting systems issues. Ensure that own work and the work of the Junior Technicians are processed accurately and in accordance with internal and external Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)/Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
