Job Description:

Role Overview: The HR Lead will own the overall HR strategy, systems, and people planning at Scribbld. You will work closely with the Founder’s Office, department heads, and finance to ensure that hiring, performance, training, engagement, and compliance are aligned with business goals. You will be responsible for building scalable HR processes while protecting company culture and enabling team growth.Key ResponsibilitiesHR Strategy & Organizational PlanningDesign and implement HR systems, processes, and SOPs aligned with business objectivesDrive talent acquisition, engagement, performance management, and retention strategyAct as a strategic advisor to leadership on team structure, succession planning, and headcount forecastingCollaborate with department heads to identify skill gaps and future hiring needsLead change management during restructuring, policy rollouts, and system implementations2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce PlanningOversee all hiring decisions and approve final offers, especially for key rolesLead senior-level hiring including JD creation, compensation benchmarking, and final interviewsPartner with finance to maintain competitive and equitable compensation structuresBuild long-term employer branding initiativesManage relationships with recruitment partners and external consultants3. Performance Management & Capability BuildingMonitor probation reviews and performance appraisals with department leadsDevelop and manage the annual HR calendar including reviews, audits, and engagement milestonesIdentify learning and development needs across teamsCoordinate training initiatives through the HR ExecutiveLead leadership development and succession planning initiativesMentor and guide the HR Executives and HR Trainees4. Culture, Engagement & Conflict ResolutionEnsure alignment of all HR functions with Scribbld’s culture and valuesLead internal culture initiatives, diversity and inclusion efforts, and engagement programsAct as a neutral mediator in sensitive employee mattersDrive transparent communication around HR policies and updates5.
