Job DescriptionLiaison person with potential candidates. Executing recruitment drives. Supporting new recruitment with readiness. Negotiating and influencing new recruits on Wallems’ terms and conditions. Building a database of potential candidates. Maintaining relationships with potential candidates. Follow up with high performing inactive seafarers. Supporting seafarer’s engagement initiativesJob ResponsibilitiesCompliance with vessel related statutory, regulatory, Wallem, Union and Client’s requirementsResponsible for compliance in maintaining Crew Management Software of new recruitsEnsure a complete understanding of crewing and company KPI’s and compliance with the sameQuality control and verification checks on CV and documentsMaintenance of Crew Management System with required documents and informationSupport seafarers to induct in Wallem and liaise with other departments to facilitate on boardingMatrix compliance matchingSupport Recruitment Manager in manpower planning, selection and placement of seafarersLiaison and follow up with new and potential recruitsPre-employment checks and tests of new recruitsNegotiating and influencing new recruits on Wallems’ terms and conditionsAdvance planning for recruitment to deliver results with minimum expenseSupport Manager in maintaining operational budgetExecuting recruitment drives in various regions.Communicating seafarer’s expectations to managerIdentify individual candidates’ wants and needs and demonstrate how working at company can fulfill sameEscalation of exceptions to Recruitment Manager and compliance with Company policiesEnsure business risk procedures are complied withCommunicate industry and new recruit feedback to Manager, which may affect successful recruitment results Liaise through efficient and closed loop communication with stakeholdersMaintain good professional relationship with colleagues in all business functions, service providers and external stakeholdersProvide cooperation and take initiatives to see through business resultsQualifications & ExperienceBachelor's Degree or Degree in Maritime / Logistic or related disciplinesMinimum 3 years' experience in similar positionEffective communicator with strong command of English.
