Job Description:

Position Title: Dy. Training Manager / Training Manager – Pharma Department: Learning & Development / Training Location: Mumbai Reports to: Training- Head Role Overview: The Training Manager (Pharma) is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs to enhance the knowledge, skills, and performance of sales, marketing, and medical teams. The role ensures scientific accuracy, compliance with regulations, and continuous capability building to drive organizational growth. Key Responsibilities: Identify training needs through performance reviews, feedback, and business priorities. Design training calendars aligned with company goals. Develop product, therapy, selling skills, and soft-skill training modules. Ensure scientific content is accurate, updated, and compliant with pharma regulations. Conduct induction training for new hires and refresher programs for existing employees. Deliver training using classroom, digital, and on-the-job methodologies. Train field managers on coaching, mentoring, and team development. Provide product & therapy training for sales representatives to improve field effectiveness. Measure training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and on-field evaluations. Track post-training performance improvements (ROI of training). Develop e-learning modules, video content, and mobile learning solutions. Maintain an updated knowledge repository of products and therapies. Ensure training programs comply with regulatory and ethical standards. Maintain training records for audits and certifications. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of pharma industry, therapies, and regulatory compliance. Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills. Proficiency in instructional design, digital learning tools, and adult learning principles. Strong interpersonal and coaching skills. Analytical mindset to measure training effectiveness. Qualifications & Experience: Graduate in Life Sciences/Pharmacy; MBA/PGDM preferred. 5–8 years of experience in Pharma Training (Sales Training / L&D). Experience in designing & conducting product, therapy, and skill-based training. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): % of field force trained and certified. Improvement in sales force productivity and performance. Training effectiveness scores (feedback, assessments, on-field performance).
