The position involves vendor research, supplier coordination, commercial negotiations, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure timely product development and sourcing execution. This opportunity is suitable for professionals interested in building experience in vendor sourcing, procurement coordination, and supplier management within consumer product industries.Key ResponsibilitiesVendor Identification & Supplier DevelopmentIdentify and evaluate suppliers for skincare ingredients, food products, nutraceutical ingredients, and packaging materials.Research potential third-party manufacturers and private label production partners.Support vendor onboarding processes, including documentation and initial capability assessments.Contract Manufacturing & Vendor CoordinationCoordinate with contract manufacturers and private label partners for product development and production requirements.Support sourcing activities related to skincare formulations, packaged foods, and nutraceutical products.Ensure communication between vendors and internal teams for smooth execution.Procurement & Commercial CoordinationAssist in procurement activities related to raw materials, ingredients, and packaging.Support vendor negotiations for pricing, minimum order quantities (MOQs), and lead times.Maintain records of supplier quotations and procurement comparisons.Compliance & Documentation SupportCoordinate with internal teams to ensure vendors maintain required certifications and regulatory documentation.Support documentation processes related to product sourcing and supplier compliance.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork with product development, operations, and marketing teams to align sourcing timelines with product launches.Coordinate vendor communication during product development cycles.Vendor Relationship ManagementMaintain professional relationships with suppliers and manufacturing partners.Track vendor responsiveness, delivery timelines, and service quality.Market Research & Supplier InsightsConduct research on emerging suppliers, ingredients, and packaging innovations in skincare, food, and nutraceutical markets.Share vendor insights with internal teams to support product development and sourcing strategies.Required Skills & QualificationsMinimum 1 year of experience in sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or supply chain coordination.Exposure to the cosmetics, skincare, FMCG, food products, or nutraceutical industries is preferred.Basic understanding of supplier sourcing and procurement processes.Strong communication and vendor coordination skills.Ability to manage multiple supplier interactions and timelines.Good negotiation and organizational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and documentation tools.Preferred Exposure (Good to Have)Experience working with third-party manufacturers or private-label suppliers.Familiarity with cosmetic ingredients, food sourcing, or nutraceutical products.Basic knowledge of supplier certifications such as GMP, ISO, or regulatory documentation.Why Join IFC VenturesOpportunity to work across multiple consumer product categories, including skincare, foods, and nutraceuticals.Exposure to vendor sourcing, procurement processes, and supplier ecosystems.Work closely with cross-functional teams involved in product development and operations.Growth opportunities within sourcing, procurement, and supply chain functions.Work LocationMumbai, Maharashtra - On-site role.Equal Opportunity StatementIFC Ventures Pvt.
