Job Type: Full Time
Job Description:
Nutriti Ingredients is a BRC-certified spray-dried food ingredients manufacturer near Palanpur, Gujarat, selling to large global FMCG and ingredient companies. Our breakout product is a proprietary encapsulated fizz granule technology that we manufacture for a major global nutrition company's energy drink line.DM or email if this sounds like you. Two short questions at the bottom — answer those instead of sending a CV.We're entering the health and wellness ingredient space. The model: import functional ingredients from China, Korea, or Europe that Indian wellness brands currently struggle to source, add value through our spray drying, blending, flavoring, and fizz capabilities, and sell the bundled product to D2C wellness companies and nutraceutical contract manufacturers. We need one person who can build the starter portfolio. Not a strategy consultant who'll deliver a PowerPoint. Someone who has actually placed orders with ingredient manufacturers overseas, knows what's trending in Indian nutra, understands landed cost economics and FSSAI import requirements, and can tell us which 3-5 ingredients to start with and why. This is a 3-6 month project engagement at 1L/month. Real potential to convert to something permanent if the first phase works, but no obligation on either side. The right person has probably spent 3-8 years at a company like IMCD, Azelis, Barentz, KP Manish, UniBourne, or similar — in a sourcing, procurement, or BD role in the food or nutraceutical division — and has either gone independent or is ready to build something ground-up rather than sell someone else's portfolio. To apply, answer two questions in your DM or email:Name 2-3 functional ingredients that Indian health & wellness brands currently struggle to source reliably. For each, name one international manufacturer you'd approach and your rough estimate of the size of the market in India for that ingredient. What's the most recent ingredient you personally sourced from an overseas manufacturer? What was the process from first contact to first shipment? If you can answer both with specifics, we should talk. If you need to Google the answers, this probably isn't the right fit.
