The role ensures that all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with manufacturer standards and site requirements.About Your TeamYou’ll work within the Plant & Equipment division, collaborating closely with crane engineers, logistics teams, and safety officers to ensure seamless crane operations. From planned maintenance to urgent repairs, your input will help keep critical lifting operations on schedule and incident-free.Your RolePerform routine preventive maintenance on tower cranes’ electrical systems, including motors, control panels, wiring, and limit switches.Diagnose and repair electrical faults promptly to minimize downtime.Assist in the installation and dismantling of tower cranes, focusing on electrical components.Rehabilitate and re-wire electrical panels, replacing damaged wiring, relays, and control components.Report required spare parts to the supervisor and assist in identifying correct part numbers for ordering.Track electrical component usage and communicate delays due to unavailable parts.Respond to breakdown calls and identify electrical malfunctions using test equipment and schematics.Repair or replace faulty components such as relays, sensors, contactors, circuit breakers, and lighting systems.Conduct pre-operation checks and electrical inspections.Support regular testing and calibration of crane safety devices including load moment indicators (LMI), anti-collision systems, and limit switches.What We’re Looking ForEducation: Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on electrical maintenance experience on tower cranes (e.g., Terex, Potain, Liebherr, Zoomlion) and hoists (e.g., Alimak, ZoomLion, XMT).Technical Skills:Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams.Strong understanding of control circuits, limit switches, VFDs, and motor starters.Familiarity with crane safety devices such as LMI, anemometers, and anti-collision systems.Basic mechanical skills are an added advantage.What We OfferOpportunity to contribute to the most iconic projects in the regionA forward-thinking digital team with space for innovation and growthSupportive and collaborative project cultureFull-time on-site position based in the UAEReady to help shape the digital future of construction?If you’re inspired by this opportunity and believe you’re the right fit, we want to hear from you.Join ALEC Building and be a driving force behind digital excellence on world-class projects.Apply today and let’s build something exceptional.
