About the RoleJoin Synergy Marine Group as an Electrical Superintendent and play a crucial role in optimizing the electrical, automation, navigation, and communication systems across our tanker fleet. You will provide high-quality shore-based support, ensuring efficient operations within budget and timelines.Responsibilities include maintenance strategy development, technology evaluation for carbon footprint reduction, lifecycle management, budget planning, vendor management, and procurement liaison.Responsibilities:Develop maintenance strategies for electrical, automation, navigation, and communication equipmentIdentify and propose cost-effective technologies to reduce carbon footprintMaintain a database of equipment lifecycle, failures, and root cause analysis for data-driven decisionsPrepare yearly budgets and stay updated on relevant rules and regulationsManage vendors and provide feedback to the category management teamLiaise with the procurement team for timely and cost-optimized spare partsEnsure timely approval of requisitions and invoice paymentsConduct business/economic evaluations for cost-effective operationsQualifications & Experience:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (Marine Electrical and Automation focus preferred)Minimum 5 years of sailing experience as a Marine Electrical Engineer on tanker VesselETO COC HolderDesirable: 1-2 years of shore-based experience as an Electrical Superintendent
