Identify and evaluate packaging materials based on product specifications, cost, and sustainability goals. Ensure packaging designs comply with safety, labelling, and environmental regulations. Manage packaging projects via procurement from manufacturers / vendors to ensure timelines and budgets are met. Conduct thorough testing and evaluation of packaging prototypes to maintain quality standards. Overall Inventory Management of categories handled Collaborate with marketing/ design teams to implement innovative packaging solutions that enhance product appeal and marketability. Oversee inventory of packaging materials and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely procurement to support production schedules. Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to optimize inventory management and minimize waste. Conduct regular inspections and audits of packaging processes and materials to identify and address any deviations or non-conformities. Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and waste minimization within the packaging department, implementing initiatives to drive operational efficiency and sustainability. Collect and analyse data on packaging performance metrics, such as throughput, downtime, and quality metrics, to identify trends and areas for improvement. Preferred Candidates Bachelors Degree/Post-Graduation in Packaging 10+ Years of Experience in Packaging design or related domain Latest trends in Packaging materials and Packaging technology Vendor development and audit protocols Regulatory compliances pertaining to packaging materials Design Thinking and Data driven approach towards problem solving Ability to drive project through large set of stakeholders Analytical in nature and ability to translate strategies into execution Mandatory Skills Packaging Development, Ecommerce packaging, Sustainability
