Dealer – Debt

Position SummaryThe Debt Dealer will execute money market, corporate bond and government securities transactions for mutual fund schemes in accordance with approved investment decisions, dealing controls, RFQ requirements where applicable, and settlement discipline.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute debt market transactions including government securities, treasury bills, money market instruments, corporate bonds, commercial papers and other permitted debt instruments.Coordinate with the fund manager, operations and custodian on settlement, confirmations, and securities movement.Support participation on approved market platforms including RFQ mechanisms as applicable under mutual fund requirements for debt market transactions.Ensure completeness of deal tickets, counterparties, yield/price capture, and dealing records.Track settlement obligations and follow through on failed / delayed / exceptional trades.Work with operations teams on SGL/CSGL and related reconciliation support where relevant.Maintain high dealing discipline, confidentiality and compliance with internal code and regulatory standards.Preferred ProfileGraduate / MBA / CFA Inter / equivalent.2–5 years in debt market dealing, treasury dealing, fixed income trading desk, or AMC debt operations.Strong numerical accuracy, product familiarity and settlement awareness.
