From Homes to Highways, Hi-tech to Heavy metals, We lead tomorrow together to create a smarter & more sustainable world.Job Purpose/ SummaryTo plan, design, and develop highway infrastructure projects by ensuring compliance with applicable standards, optimizing design efficiency, and supporting project execution from concept to construction.Job TitleTeam Member – Highway Design EngineerLocation- MumbaiKey ResponsibilitiesPrepare geometric design of highways, including horizontal and vertical alignments, cross-sections, and junction layouts as per IRC and international standards.Develop detailed design drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MX Road, or Open Roads.Carry out pavement design, drainage design, and road safety features in coordination with relevant teams.Review survey data, traffic studies, and feasibility reports to support design development.Ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (structures, geotechnical, traffic, and environmental) for integrated project delivery.Support preparation of DPR (Detailed Project Report), BOQs, and technical documentation.Conduct design checks, value engineering, and optimization for cost-effective solutions.Assist in tendering, bid support, and technical clarifications.Provide support during construction stage for design-related queries and modificationKey Skills & Competencies:Strong knowledge of highway design standards (IRC, MoRTH, AASHTO).Proficiency in design software: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MX Road, OpenRoads, or similar.Understanding of pavement design, drainage, and traffic engineering.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong coordination and communication abilities.Attention to detail and quality focus.Educational Qualification:Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech)Master’s degree (M.Tech in Transportation/Highway Engineering) preferred3–8 years of experience in highway/road design projects (EPC/HAM/PPP projects preferred)Infrastructure / Roads & Highways / EPC Companies / Consultancy Firms
