We go beyond traditional data centers by offering tailored solutions powered by renewable resources.BDx is a portfolio company of I Squared Capital, a leading global infrastructure investor with a focus on digital infrastructure, energy, utilities, and transportation.Learn more: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To lead the development of all aspects of research in Electrical P ower Systems Engineeringspecifically in the space of software defined power ie mana ging stranded power in a DC.Collaborate with Design and Engineering (D&E) core teams to develop, implement, and managethe DC electrical designs for new development, infrastructure upgrades and rectifications. Specificactions is to look at incorporating the latest technologies with an outcome to reduce costs andbring in specific cost savings.Participate in new technology insertions through collaboration with the core engineering team toprovide site specific requirements during the development of BOD ( even for site specific stuff)Quarterly review of technologies and commercials for key aspectsModelling, simulation and data management. Experience with simulation and modelling software(e.g., MATLAB, COSMOL)QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCEHave a Master’s or PhD’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalentfrom a recognized University. Major in Power Engineering will beadvantageous.Experience in design, construction, and commissioning of medium/Lowvoltage /High Voltage electrical distribution systems, AC/DC systems, andassociated power management/SCADA tools.Prior knowledge on power system condition monitoring.At BDx, we believe that our success lies in the hands of our talented and dedicated employees.
