Role: L3 Production Support Lead (J2EE & Microservices)Location: MumbaiExperience: 6-10 YearsDomain: BFSI/Capital MarketTechnical Skills:J2EE, Spring, Spring BootMicroservices architectureRESTful APIs Oracle & DB2 troubleshooting Unix/Linux scripting Splunk/ELK CI/CD exposureKey Responsibilities• Lead and mentor L2/L3 support engineers, ensuring strong technical capability and consistent delivery.• Manage workload distribution, shift governance, and on‑call rotations.• Conduct knowledge‑sharing sessions, technical training, and SOP improvements.• Drive accountability, discipline, and adherence to production support processes.• Act as the highest-level escalation point for critical incidents (Sev‑1/Sev‑2).• Ensure timely communication with clear incident summaries and RCA reports.• Debug and analyze J2EE, Spring Boot, and Microservices-based applications.• Optimize application performance and API response times.• Troubleshoot Oracle/DB2 database performance issues.• Enhance monitoring, alerting, and automated recovery mechanisms.• Promote automation of routine tasks and log analysis.• Drive health checks, capacity planning, and resilience improvements.• Collaborate with development for release readiness and deployment validation.• Ensure adherence to ITIL Change Management processes.• Communicate status, risks, and insights to senior management.• Align with regulatory, compliance, and audit expectations.
