Job Title: Process Engineer – Flow Reactor SystemsCompany: Amar Equipment Pvt. Ltd.Location: Rabale, Navi MumbaiDepartment: Flow Reactor DivisonAbout the RoleAmar Equipment Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Process Engineer to support the Flow Reactor team in executing, procuring, installing, and commissioning flow reactor system projects. The role suits someone with minimum 5 years of experience in EPC or EPC-related project environments and strong process engineering fundamentals.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport execution of flow/continuous reactor system projects from requirements definition through commissioning and handover.Prepare, review, and maintain process engineering deliverables such as PFDs, P&IDs, process narratives, and equipment specifications.Perform process calculations related to flow, heat transfer, pressure drop, utilities, and basic equipment sizing as required for project execution.Coordinate with internal teams (mechanical design, fabrication, automation/controls, QA) to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.Assist in vendor identification, technical evaluation, and finalization of procurement packages for bought-out items and instrumentation.Support planning and tracking of project activities, timelines, documentation, and customer deliverables.Participate in installation and commissioning activities at customer sites, including troubleshooting and performance validation.Ensure engineering work follows applicable safety practices, documentation standards, and project quality requirements.Engage with clients (including international customers) for technical discussions, clarifications, and system acceptance.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering (or a closely related discipline).Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience in EPC or EPC-related process projects.Hands-on experience preparing and reviewing core process documentation (PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets, process calculations).Good working understanding of process equipment such as pumps, reactors, heat exchangers, utilities, and instrumentation.Preferred (Good to Have)Knowledge of continuous manufacturing and/or flow chemistry/flow reactor systems.Exposure to international regulations and customer requirements such as GMP, ATEX, CE, ASME, PED, and related compliance expectations.Prior experience in site execution, commissioning, and troubleshooting of process skids or pilot/production systems.Strong communication skills and comfort working in customer-facing discussions.Key CompetenciesStrong ownership and execution mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel.Structured problem-solving and attention to detail, especially in documentation and calculations.Ability to work cross-functionally across engineering, manufacturing, and automation teams.Willingness to travel for commissioning and customer support as needed.What Amar Equipment OffersOpportunity to work on advanced flow reactor systems and continuous processing technologies.Exposure to global projects and international customer requirements.Fast learning environment with strong ownership and growth opportunities.
