The ideal candidate will bring over 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, focused on managing project costs related to specialized systems in construction projects. This role encompasses cost estimation, budget management, and contract administration, with an emphasis on effective collaboration with stakeholders to ensure project deliverables align with client expectations.Key Responsibilities:Project Scope Analysis: Examine project scope in accordance with design requirements to ensure consistency and feasibility.Technical Specifications Validation: Review technical specifications provided by the design team to confirm alignment with project objectives.Specification Optimization: Ensure that specifications adhere strictly to clientrequired deliverables while seeking opportunities for enhancement.Bill of Quantities Management: Validate and prepare the Bill of Quantities (BOQs) along with supporting calculations for management presentation and approval.Running Accounts and Final Bills: Review and process Running Account (RA) bills and final bills, making necessary amendments as required.Budget Cost Analysis: Conduct comprehensive budget cost analysis utilizing benchmark cost matrices to inform decision-making.Alternative Solutions Proposals: Submit various budget options exploring alternative solutions to the original design, optimizing for project needs.Product Research and Proposal: Research and suggest new products for management consideration and approval.Cost Optimization Options: Provide budget optimization strategies based on project requirements and constraints.Timely Budget Compliance: Ensure all budget requirements are fulfilled within established timeframes.Cost Analysis Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on cost analysis for management review and strategic planning.Additional Roles & Responsibilities:Cost Estimates Preparation: Generate accurate cost estimates, BOQs, rate analyses, and amendments as necessary.Quantity Take-offs: Perform quantity take-offs for all construction items using AutoCAD in line with project specifications.Cost Planning and Risk Analysis: Engage in cost planning, value engineering, and risk analysis to support project sustainability.Contractor Bill Verification: Verify contractor's bills and assess variations to ensure compliance with project standards.Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with all project stakeholders, including design, site, contracts, billing, and project management teams to maintain project alignment.Required Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD, with a solid understanding of construction industry standards, particularly in interior fit outs.Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Strong communication skills and stakeholder management proficiency.Ability to work independently while also positively contributing to a collaborative team environment.Desired Attributes:Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving prowess.In-depth knowledge of systems and construction processes.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration.Proficiency in relevant software tools; adaptability to new technologies.A proactive mind-set, thriving in both independent and team oriented settings.Join us in shaping the future of luxury real estate by bringing your expertise to our esteemed projects in Mumbai and Goa.
