Mechanical Engineer - Static Equipment

Role: Static Equipment Engineer:Division : TREI - TECNICALMinimum Qualification: B.E / B. Tech MechanicalExperience: 5-7 years Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra1. The Candidate shall be performing design calculations, mechanical data sheets, technical specifications, technical requisitions, technical bid evaluations for pressure vessels such as Columns, Reactors, Tanks etc for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical industry, Fertilizer industry etc. 2.The candidate shall be familiar with international codes and standards like ASME Sec. VIII Div. 1 & Div. 2, API, IBR and various Client specifications.3.The candidate shall be proficient in design software like Compress, PV Elite, Nozzle Pro etc. Exposure of Ansys will be an added advantage. 4.The candidate shall be having interface with equipment vendors and manufacturers to evaluate technical proposals, post award document reviews / approvals and ensure compliance with project requirements.5.The candidate shall adhere to the committed manhours and budget and ensure timely reporting on engineering / requisitioning activities to the Lead Engineer / Manager.6.The candidate shall have experience of working with engineering consultants and EPC companies for design and engineering of various types of static equipments.7.Field / shop experience on the equipments related to O&G Projects will be an added advantage.8.The Candidate shall coordinate with other engineering disciplines. 9.The Candidate shall provide support in resolving queries originating during equipment fabrication and site activities.10. The Candidate shall be able to work independently for the preparation of engineering deliverables and review of vendor documents within specified project schedules.11.
