Our mission is 30:30;30 GW by 2030.Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient Electrical Design Engineer to support theelectrical design and engineering of renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will beresponsible for designing, reviewing, and optimizing electrical systems for utility-scale solar, wind,and hybrid energy installations. This role will involve coordination with multidisciplinary teams,ensuring designs meet performance, cost, safety, and regulatory standards.Experience: 3-7 years Key Responsibilities:• Prepare and review electrical designs, layouts, and drawings including single line diagrams(SLDs), cable schedules, earthing and lightning protection, and power distributionschemes.• Perform load flow analysis, short-circuit calculations, and protection coordination usingsoftware such as AutoCAD, ETAP, DIgSILENT, or similar tools.• Design and size electrical components such as transformers, inverters, switchgear,protection systems, and cables.• Collaborate with civil and structural teams to integrate electrical systems into site layouts.• Conduct technical feasibility studies and support preparation of detailed project reports(DPR).• To carry out energy yield estimates for Wind and Solar projects• Ensure compliance with national and international standards (IS, IEC, IEEE, NEC, CEA, etc.).• Support procurement with technical specifications and vendor evaluations for electricalequipment.• Support BD in carrying out pre bid engineering and reviewing of the bid documents• Provide technical assistance to site teams during installation, testing, and commissioningphases.• Coordinate with utilities and regulatory bodies for grid compliance and interconnectionstudies.• Implement value engineering and optimization strategies for cost-effective and efficientdesigns.Requirements:• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).• 3–7 years of experience in electrical design within the renewable energy sector.• Proficient in AutoCAD, ETAP, PowerFactor, or similar design and simulation tools.• Strong knowledge of power systems, substation design, and low/high voltage systems.• Experience in designing utility-scale solar PV, wind, or hybrid projects.• Understanding of SCADA, protection relays, and communication systems is a plus.• Good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a team-orientedenvironment.• Experience working in EPC or IPP is preferred.Why Join Ecoren Energy?• Competitive pay and benefits package.• Be part of a company driving India’s clean energy future.• Opportunities for growth and professional development.• Grow within a dynamic, values-driven and collaborative work culture.
