Lead Electrical Engineer

Title: Lead Electrical Engineer - Data CenterLocation: MumbaiYears of Experience: 20+ yearsResponsibilities:Expert in design of Overall Electrical power systems for Data Centres including EHV/HV/MV/LV distribution.Expert in design of UPS systems (incl. Battery), DGs, Switchgear, PDUs, and Grounding systems.Develops conceptual and detailed electrical design packages in coordination with internal teams, consultants, and vendors.Ensure designs are Value Engineered and focus on Performance, Energy Efficiency, and Reliability Targets.Own technical design decisions and power system architecture across multiple Data Centre projects.Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and design validation through simulation and analysis tools.Updated on industry codes, standards (NEC, IEEE, IEC, NFPA 70E), and new technologies in power systems.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to electrical design engineers.Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and post-occupancy performance reviews.Experience:20–25+ years of experience in electrical design, with at least 5 years focused on Data Centres or mission-critical facilities.Deep understanding of power system design including redundancy (N+1, 2N), fault coordination, and load analysis.Experience with electrical design software tools (ETAP, SKM, AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).Familiarity with international electrical codes and standards.
